SAVE A LIFE...ADOPT A HOMELESS PET! Hi I'm Ernest (aka Ernie). I was found all alone in the woods, and Some nice people took me to the local shelter. Unfortunately, the shelter I was taken to stills sells there animals to research. The day before I was to go to research I was rescued. Whew! I am 4 to 5 years old and am very sweet. I get along with the dogs and kitties in my foster home. Unfortunately, I was found to be heart worm positive and will need to undergo treatment before I can go to my forever home. If you are willing to wait for me, I promise I am worth the wait. Being that Ernie is a Beagle, a securely fenced in yard is a MUST.
