7-10-11 Poor Hippo was chained to one of our volunteer's front porch when she came home. He had almost broke through the railing and was wrapped around the bushes all in very hot weather. We estimate him to be around 2 years old. He is a very sweet boy who likes other dogs and loves loves people. Hippo also did great with our volunteers young daughter. He deserves a home that will keep him safe forever and free of chains.
Hippo is much smaller than his pictures make him look and tips the scales at about 25 pounds. He is very eager to please and would do great in a home that wanted to train him to do agility or just wanted a fun dog that enjoyed an active family. Hippo loves to be held and will sit in your lap for as long as you will let him.
