Apple is a 2 year old pittie that was found in Kings Mountain State Park as a stray. She had been sighted for a few months, but was too scared to come close to her rescuers. A blanket held down by two logs, and two bowls were found near where Apple "lived" in the woods- we highly suspect she was abandoned by her prior owners- expected to fend for herself in the state park. Thankfully, she survived the recent cold weather and limited food availability, and found solace with a kind person who rescued her. Apple is very sweet, well mannered, and just wants love. She loves to play ball, and just play in general, seeking love and snuggles when she's tired! She's safe in her foster home and has learned quickly about being a loved, indoor dog.
