Leica Elmarit-M 24mm ASPH F/2.8 Lens in Charlotte, North Carolina For Sale

Near-pristine Leica Elmarit-M 24mm ASPH lens. The glass is perfect with no cleaning marks, dust, or any issues. The aperture blades are perfect with no oil, and the settings click perfectly. This lens comes with its original rear cap and front hood/cap as well as the carrying case, original box and papers! This is the best wide angle lens I have ever owned and renders beautifully on my film and digital Leica M cameras with incredible color saturation and sharpness. I hate to sell it but am forced to. Word has it that this lens is going to be discontinued by Leica soon leaving only the Summilux 1.4 or the Elmar 3.8. as options in this focal length. I think this f/2.8 Elmarit with its aspherical lens element is the best all-around wide angle lens for speed and image quality.
