This is the last version of the single cutaway xxxx and yes it has the "trestle" It plays and sounds FANTASTIC and in the right hands is fully capable of emulating the sounds of BRIAN SETZER, EDDIE COCHRAN and a multitude of others including of course the legendary CHESTER ATKINS. It is wholly original but for the tuna-matic style bridge. There are not any of the usual vintage Gretsch issues with this guitar
