REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college Paralegal Certificate 3+ years of relevant experience Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks Works well in a high pressured environment Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reviewing and working closely with surveyors and borrower's counsel. Summarizing UCC, judgment, tax, and other lien searches. Preparing and filing documents. Preparing and distributing closing binders. Coordinating the closing process for various commercial real estate transactions. Reviewing and summarizing leases. Reviewing SNDAs and tenant estoppels. Reviewing and summarizing of exceptions listed in title commitments. Working closely with title companies and borrower's counsel to clear title and obtain title policies prior to closing.
