Job Summary:
The Senior Auditor/Self Assessment Coordinator will be primarily responsible for providing independent oversight to select functional areas within the Project Management and Construction Department (PMC). Responsibilities will include:
* Direct and coordinate periodic performance-based assessments to determine the effectiveness of the organization
* Participate in other functional area assessments and effectiveness reviews,
* Provide real time observations, and timely and constructive feedback to select organizations,
* Evaluate self-evaluation activities that include self-assessment, corrective action implementation, benchmarking, and use of industry construction experience.
* Provide coaching to PMC management and staff for planning and implementation of self assessments and benchmarking.
* Build and maintain effective relationships.
Typical office environment with some travel required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Plan, lead and execute independent internal PMC audits/assessments:
* Prepare and maintain an audit/assessment plan
* Develop individual audit/assessment outlines
* Conduct audit/assessment interviews
* Analyze and evaluate data
* Issue event reports for identified gaps/findings
Perform observations on PMC Projects and corporate sections and provide constructive feedback
Provide coordination and assistance for PMC Self Assessments
* Maintain the PMC Self Assessment Plan
* Consult PMC management on potential assessment topics/focus
* Provide coaching/guidance in the implementation of self assessments.
Perform, lead, or assist in effectives review assessments following the implementation of corrective actions and/or new procedures/processes.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor''s degree from a four-year college or university with 3-5 year of relevant work experience OR 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
* Proficient with MS Office software suite.
Desired Qualifications:
* 2 or more years experience in the utility or construction industry.
* Ability to understand global context/responsbilities of the audit function.
