Modifications: responsible for reviewing and interpreting modification documents and modified loan terms received from various Special Servicers (and/or internal Asset Managers) for In addition, the Modifications group must ensure the final reconciliation of funds to ensure all open receivables are addressed at time of boarding and that there are sufficient funds to apply to modified payment terms.Successful re-boarding to the Strategy loan accounting system. Primary responsibility for reviewing and interpreting high complexity loan Modification documents received from Special Servicers for re-boarding of modified loan terms onto Strategy, the loan accounting system of record; Identify all non-standard loan terms and features, and coordinate with multiple CMS teams, including Investor Reporting, Cash Management and Asset Management, to transition and integrate new responsibilities and triggers; Prepare final reconciliation of Suspense funds to ensure all open receivables are addressed at time of boarding, and there are sufficient funds to apply to modified payment terms, and prepare Booking Form for boarding of new loan terms onto Strategy; Work with Investor Reporting to prepare amortization schedules for pre and post-Effective Date of Modification, and reimbursement of servicing fees and advances to Trust; Work directly with Special Servicers Asset Managers, and/or Special Servicers legal counsel, to obtain missing information and resolve ambiguities in Modification documents and/or posting instructions; Facilitate Deal Meetings for complex transactions with various CMS teams to discuss terms and impact of modifications; Partner closely with CMS loan boarding group to ensure modified terms are properly boarded to Strategy; Coordinate with CMS Special Servicing and Cash Management teams to ensure accurate and timely application and movement of funds on Strategy and/or from Cash Management Account Basic Qualifications: 3+ years lending, real estate and/or asset management experience. Minimum Qualifications: Financial modeling and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills to interact effectively with customers at various levels of staff and management. 3+ years experience reviewing, interpreting and/or negotiating commercial real estate loan documentation, with an emphasis on Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) Knowledge and/or experience with CMBS cash management structures Knowledge of Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) servicing operations, Asset Management and Special Servicing roles and responsibilities Preferred Skills: Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with varying internal servicing personnel, Special Servicers and legal counsel Ability to successfully manage relationships and expectations with internal and external parties Well versed in income producing commercial real estate fundamentals and various property types MBA or JD How to Express Interest in This Job: Wells Fargo invites you to apply for this job at WELLS FARGO IS AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER M/F/D/V.
