Description: This position will work with the Real Estate Lending operations manager supporting TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB (the "Trust Company") on a wide variety of matters to support the lending activities of TIAA-CREF''s federal savings bank. A primary responsibility of this position will be the review and daily oversight of internal, state and federal regulations associated with real estate lending (origination, fulfillment, servicing, and default). Responsibilities will include but not limited to: 1. Relationship engagements; 2. Assist with project facilitation and coordination of project tasks/deliverables; 3. Conduct research on required disclosures and documentation for Real Estate Lending to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines; 4. Continued Education; 5. Assist in requests for review from Internal Audit, OCC examiners and Compliance; 6. Conduct monthly meeting on issues, updates, guidance with TIAA-CREF's A&O partners; 7. Reporting on all issues to management; 8. Validation Efforts; 9. Conduct quarterly risk matrix review; 10. Default Management and Credit Administration; 11. Review and management of all production reports; 12. AML/Authentication spreadsheet review - gap analysis; 13. Statement review/calculation, etc; 14. Create weekly review with management team; 15. Monthly review to senior leadership team; 16. Partner with Client Assurance and Complaints Management Specialist to expand call monitoring program; 17. Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery process (Partner with Real Estate Lending Production Support Specialist, TIAA Direct Banking and Production Support team); 18. Provide monthly business recommendations / summary presentations to management team; 19. Assist with complaint review and provide recommendation to leadership team on requested fee waivers. Other duties include: Delivery of analysis in well documented presentations. Communicate and support results of analytics (verbally and written) in person and on conference calls Coordinate and facilitate meetings as needed and serve as subject matter expert. Assist in day-to-day work requests for real estate lending. * Bachelor''s degree required * In depth knowledge of real estate lending documentation and applicable regulatory and compliance guidelines * 8 year's real estate lending experience, at a bank or mortgage lender. * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills a must. * Demonstrated ability to maintain documentation and corporate records. * Proficiency in using Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Professional and PowerPoint required. * Ability to coordinate with professionals and managers from across the Trust Company''s business lines to meet changing deadlines. * Ability to coordinate with professionals and managers from approved vendors to meet changing deadlines.
