Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Field Operations Manager is a member of the Maintenance & Field Operations department and is responsible for managing and oversight of resident maintenance requests, unit turns and a systematic property inspection program for an assigned number of single family rental homes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manages quality control program and reporting system,
Ensures all assigned rent ready units meet quality control guidelines.
Manages response times to residents of team of maintenance technicians staffed across a broad geographic footprint.
Performs ongoing training of maintenance technicians on newly developed process and procedures.
Ensures timely completion of all unit turns across the portfolio to minimize downtime and maximize rental revenue.
Manages semi-annual home inspection program to improve resident satisfaction, control unit turn costs and maximize average length of tenancy.
Ensures all properties are compliant with local, state and federal health and safety.
QUALIFICATIONS
10 years or more years of experience as a senior superintendent, regional maintenance supervisor or production home customer service manager; regional or director level experience preferred.
Experience in managing multiple staff members over a geographic region.
Extensive knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Flooring, Appliances, Landscaping and Irrigation Systems as they relate to single family residential homes.
Mastery of general UBC building codes and rental property health and safety regulations
